Vin Diesel is promising fans of the “Fast & Furious” franchise three last rides.

　　The actor wrote Sunday on Facebook that he plans to produce a final trilogy of films.

　　“Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision … they have been like family … I promised the studio I would deliver one last trilogy to end the saga,” he wrote.

　　他在脸书中写道：“一直以来，环球影业对我很照顾并且相信我的判断…他们就如同家人一样…我已经向他们承诺我会制作系列的最后三部曲，为《速度与激情》画上完美的句号“。

　　The post comes amid reports that the upcoming “Furious 8,” slated for April 14, 2017, is being derailed as it still has not found a director.

　　“My producing partner Neal [Moritz] would love for me to just sign off on a director, but this is too special a franchise, so these matters have to be very carefully handled,” Diesel wrote. “To be clear, NO ONE has been offered to helm Fast 8 yet … let alone seen a script.”
