It is a great pleasure for me to recommend Ms麦兜as a quality candidate for admission to your program.I taught her College English for two semesters,so I came to know this student very well.I would like to take this opportunity to comment on her academic achievements.

I first became acquainted with Ms麦兜in the 20xx-2003 academic years,when she took the course“College English”that I taught.Therefore I had many opportunities to observe her performance in her undergraduate years.A diligent student,her academic record ranking is high and she is one of the top students in her major.In a strict grading system like ours,her academic record represents a remarkable achievement.

Also she translated that dissertation into English by herself.During that time,she asked me some questions about translation actively.There is no doubt that she is good at analytical thinking and independent work.When she wrote the dissertation,she

read a lot of relevant books and articles on the Internet and this proved her ability in study all by herself.A very independent thinker,she enjoys reading widely and will have no problems keeping up with the demands of a postgraduate course.

I would also like to compliment Ms麦兜for her English proficiency.She is good at communicating in both oral and written English.She has had attended the classes of native speakers’for two semesters because she is preparing for the further study in a foreign country.As a result,she is able to get high scores in CET4 and TOEFL.
