As a middle-aged person who is nearly occupied by the daily work, frequently listening to music in my spare time seems rather luxurious for me. And I only get used to listening to pop music. In fact, the real reason is that the radio channel in my car often plays pop music, and now I'm into it somewhat.

I don’t really categorise the music I listen to - I listen to music from many different genres, depending on my mood or the book I’m currently reading or whatever. For example, I like to listen to Ambient electronica or Classical while working, but enjoy early country music when walking somewhere. I don’t really understand people who only listen to one genre and disparage anyone else’s tastes. Why deny yourself experience?

I like pop music very much. First of all, pop music is lively, and suits me at my age. What I mean to say is that us youngsters like to listen to music that fits in with the way we feel Secondly, usually has a good rhythm. For instance, it is suitable for us to dance on. Lastly, pop music is simple to understand. That is to say, I like it because it is not difficult to understand, and it helps me to relax after I have been studying hard for some time.
