SAT文章阅读考试的答题原则

第一、 公平性原则

SAT考试不仅针对美国国内考生，同时还会有世界各地的考生参加考试。因此，为了保证试卷在地域特征上不存在差别，阅读文章内容主要涉及北美地区的内容，即北美的历史、地理、文化等(还会有部分欧洲历史)。

其次，不管考生将来想涉足哪个领域，无论是地理、物理、化学、数学、经济、文学、历史、教育等，都要参加SAT考试，因此，为了保证所有考生都有一个共同的知识平台，SAT阅读考试答题不要求任何专业背景知识，所有答案都可以从文章中寻得答案。

换句话说，如果答题需要背会元素周期表，那么SAT考试对非化学专业的考生就是一种不公平。

第二、 公正性原则

SAT考试是教育体制下的一个选拔工具。因此，它会积极宣扬正面的东西，具体而言，就是会保护弱势群体(女人、少数民族等)。凡是涉及到此的文章，作者都会对它的态度都是健康、积极的。

SAT考试也是学术类考试。为了满足其学术特征，文章作者在写作过程中不会采取过激的态度、模糊的态度等。
