Let me talk about the experience in an Apple Store. I had a small MacBook Pro which I had used for three years. One day in April, the machine could not work without warning. I tried various methods but couldn’t solve the problem, so I sent it to the nearest Apple Store, which was located in the Wangfujing. That shop was newly-opened and it was quite spacious and there were not many people waiting. There was a young man who took mylaptop, and checked it thoroughly. He asked several questions politely about when the machine was black screen, and what I was doing the last time the computer was fine. After a couple of minutes, he advised me that the hardware of the machine was good, and there was something wrong with the software, and it was best to reinstall the operating system, which would take me ten minutes before it was finished and reminded me that all the data in the computer would be erased. After I agreed with his suggestion, the shop assistant immediately started to install the latest operating system for me. Several minutes later, thanks to him, my laptop was reborn.

I was quite satisfied with the service the young man provided, he was obviously well-trained, and he was quite patient to fully understand what problem was with my computer and used his professional skills to deal with it. Besides, he was very proficient in his field, and seemed very reliableto me.

For example, parents have more time and energy to look after their children, and as a result, children become healthier and more intelligent. They try to satisfy every demand of their spoiled kids, thus turning them into“flowers in the nursery” that cannot bear any hardship or difficulty.

Self-confidence refers to the firm belief in one's capability to do something well. Self-confidence is an important psychological factor in our work. We can safely draw the conclusion that being given the same kind of work, a self-confidence person will find the work much easier and more interesting than one that holds a gloomy view on one's own ability. Similarly, when facing a patient, the doctor who is quite confident of his diagnosis is more likely to give much comfort to the patient and therefore achieves more satisfying result than a doctor who isn't because the self-confidence of a doctor greatly influences his patient's mood.

However, we shouldn't confuse self-confidence with conceit. The former is based on a thorough understanding of knowledge one has acquired but the latter isn't. Conceit may make people succeed temporarily, but that won't last, nevertheless, self-confidence is forever a help, a stimulus to one's success。(195 words)

I began learning English in the middle school. Soon I became very interested in it. English exams were very easy to me and I always got the highest marks in my class. Then I succeeded in the College Entrance Examination and was admitted into a college.

In the college, however, English seemed more and more difficult. Instead of learning grammar, I had to read long articles full of new words and strange sentence patterns. Listening was not easy, either. But I kept on working hard. With the help of my English teacher, I really made great progress.
