Describe a businessman that you admire

You should say:

Who this person is

How you got to know this person

What the business includes

And explain why you admire this person

话题分析

这是一道人物类的新题，但是是披着旧题的衣服，和之前几个季度的旧题，比如感兴趣的名人、一个有名的人、精力旺盛的人、擅长一项工作的人、家族企业等等都可以用一套核心的素材。如果准备过好几季口语题库的同学，应该是可以信手拈来了

这道题目需要注意的是尽量不要去准备太大众的商人，想必很多同学说的都是Jack Ma，当考官听到千篇一律的内容，也很难给出高分。

第一小问Who this person is这个商人是谁

这一题可以从他的姓名、身份地位(比如商人这题当中可以说是公司CEO、CFO或者其他身份)、个性特征、成长经历、获得的成就等，为了避免和下面第三小问有过多重复，这里针对于他的事业上的成就可以宏观地概括一句，不必提的太细节。

第二小问How you got to know this person你是怎么认识他的

一般来说我们认识到商人大多是通过他们的商品服务，如果是离我们生活比较远的商品服务、或是年代比较久远的商人，也是会通过宣传视频、流传的故事、听别人提起等其他方式认识到这个人物。

第三小问What the business includes 业务包括了哪些内容

可以详细介绍一下企业理念、企业规模、业务板块，一般来说生意是包括实物商品和服务，可以展开说说实物商品或者服务有些，有什么特质、以什么闻名。

第四小问 explain why you admire this person你为什么敬佩这个人

在解释为什么你敬佩这个人的时候，可以从多方面挖掘一下这个人出众之处，比如是人品特质/能力、商业成就、创造/宣传的理念、对社会的贡献等等。有必要的话可以渲染一下遇到的困难，但是如何克服，或者是如何改变时代/引领潮流。

The person I am going to talk about is Ray Dalio who is an American billionaire investor and hedge fund manager, who has served as the founder of the worlds largest hedge fund-----Bridgewater.

I got to know this person because of his famous book----Principles.

As i have mentioned, he is a famous investor and hedge fund manager.

I think he is a great thinker whose ideas about life and work have been presented in his book ----Principles. This is a wonderful book, which teaches me some important principles about how to make decisions, how to approach challenges, and how to build strong teams. I am particularly impressed by the concept of radical truth and radical transparency in this book, which serve as the cornerstone of Dalios career and life. After reading his wisdom exhibited in this book, i found that i made a lot of mistakes and i didnt really take my goals and career seriously. I never take great efforts to get to know the truth of a lot of things happening in my life and i didnt even think for myself what is true. I just depend on social media information and follow the crowd. I guess thats the reason why I become the mediocre and never get things done. It is him that makes me realize that i have to be true to myself and keep improving the way i think. Otherwise i will lag behind in this rapidly changing world.
