And explain how you feel about the law.
Sample Answer:
在引入题目的关键词: 法律和环保
回答第一个要点: what is the law
There are laws in various countries that target at different issues in our daily life. However, it seems to be the fact that many people pay too much attention to those laws concerning their property or safety, even to the negligence of a special kind of law that also has an equal, if not bigger, impact on their lives. So, what is this law that should merit more public attention? Well, it is the law on environmental protection, to be precise, the Law on Environmental Protection of Peoples Republic of China.
回答how I knew about it:
该叙述者的经历是参加了一个lecture,然后了解到这个法律
As for how I knew about the law, if I am not mistaken, it would be about eight years ago, when I attended a lecture on the topic of environmental protection back in my college days. The lecturer told us that the law was established in 1989 and then went into effect in the same year. Later, it went through a few amendments.
回答who benefits from it:
在这里讲到了对国家整体的积极影响,对公众个人的影响和海洋环境的影响。
As the name suggests, the law offers a general guideline to companies as well as individuals when it comes to the issue of environmental protection. For example, the law makes clear definitions on various acts of destroying or polluting the environment and accordingly lay down rules to govern companies or individuals in this respect. Also, it specify measures to punish those involved in such behavior. I think it benefits many parties involved. On a national scale, it helps reduce the numbers of environmental pollution since it imposes an incredibly high fine on companies discharging an excessive amount of waste water to the rivers or gas into the atmosphere. And as for those individuals who seriously or deliberately damage the environment , they might be put behind the bars. So, at an individual level, it sends the message to the public that there are sometimes consequences to bear if they dont protect the environment. Another thing I would like to add is that the law actually has had a direct and immediate effect on the ocean environment. I mean, I used to hear many disturbing news reports on plastic bags floating on the sea and suffocating many marine animals. However, after the banning order of plastic bags, such tragedies happen at a lower frequency. Hopefully, such tragedies could be totally avoided in the near future. Anyway, we should abide by the law and do everything in our power to protect our environment.
