Id like to describe a dinner I enjoyed very much. It happened last September, and that day was my birthday. So to celebrate this special occasion, my family and I decided to eat out in a restaurant. The restaurant we went to that day was a buffet restaurant on the fifth floor of a big shopping center. It wasnt far, only a 10-minute drive from my home.

Well, there were different kinds of food displayed in a public area of the restaurant. I remember we did enjoy a variety of sea food, such as shrimp, crab and salmon. All of them were very fresh. And there were beverages like beer, wine, juice and coffee. We also had ice creams and cakes for dessert. When we left the restaurant, we were totally stuffed!

I went there with my parents and my little sister. You know, my mom is such a foodie that she kept bringing new types of food to our table until no one was going to eat anything anymore. My little sister, on the other hand, didnt seem to be interested in the delicious food. Shed been on her phone the whole time, and I doubt she even had enough to eat.

Well, the food was great, which was one of the reasons why I enjoyed this meal. But most important, I and my family got to spend some time together. You know both my sister and I went to a boarding school, so we were rarely home. My parents were just so glad that their kids were eating at the same table with them. And to be honest, I enjoyed their company, too.
