The first curve graph illustrates the changes about tourism to and from the UK. And the second bar chart reveals the most popular countries British residents to travel.

Obviously，in 1979，visitors from other countries was 10 million，compared with the visitors from the UK was nearly 14 million. Since then，the number of tourists （both to and from the UK）had remained stable for about 6 years. However，from 1986 onwards，the number of tourist worldwide continued to increase to 26 million in 1999. Meanwhile，the number of UK residents who spend time in travelling grew significantly.（20 million in 1986，55 million in 1999，respectively）

As it shown from the bar chart，there were five countries，which UK residents visited most in 1999: Turkey，Greece，USA，Spain and France. More specifically，the most popular country of all these places was France，accounting for about 12 million visitors yearly. Second to it，Spain took up about 9 million. Finally, the number of other three countries was about 3 to 5 million on average.

With the growing of visitor from the UK，France will be the most beneficial places in this trend.
