噪音雅思口语范文篇一:噪音

1.Do you mind noises?

Yes, traffic noise has a huge influence on me and this may lead to permanent hearing loss. Actually, I’m quite sensitive to this kind of sound. You know, even the sound of a car alarm in the next street can wake me up at midnight.

2.What types of noise do you come across in your daily life?

Well, I hate the noise that caused by transport, industrial and recreational activities in the city. These kinds of noise almost drives me crazy and it may lead to an increase in stress. What’s more, it can increase the risk of deaf.

3.Are there any sounds that you like?

Well, I like listening bird singing, especially in the morning. Though birds are using their voice to impress mates and proclaim territories, the lovely sound can still comfort my mind and keep me in good mood all day.

4.Where can you (= one) hear loud noise?

On construction site! I really can't stand the sound of drilling, simply because it's just such a loud and unpleasant noise.

5.Do you think there's too much noise in modern society?

Yes ,Loud music on the street and the noise made by cars, trams and phone calls are all noise I can't stand. Also, people talking constantly drive me nuts. I think the world is getting noisier, I know it is harder to find a quiet place anymore.

6.Are cities becoming noisier?

Yes, I think cities are getting noisier, yeah, basically because if you compare the situation in cities now to what it was like 10 or 15 years ago, then it's obvious that cities have got a lot noisier, mainly, of course, due to the increase in traffic on the roads. So unless something changes, I would say that this trend is likely to continue into the future, unfortunately.

7.What natural sound(s) do you like (the most)? (Why?)

I like chirping. Birds' chirping always cheers me up in the morning.

8.What sounds do you dislike?(Why?)

I hate the sounds made by finger nails on chalk board because it annoys me and make me feel nervous.

9.What sounds remind you of your childhood?

I remember when I was a kid and I visited my grandparents' house every summer, the sound of their screen door opening brings my mind back to those times in my life.

10.What (kinds of) music do you like the most?

I love all kinds of music, mostly alternative rock, rap and pop. They are popular among young people, making them feel energetic and cool.

11.Does your school have any quiet place for studying?

I absolutely love libraries. Every time I am in library I can study efficiently and effectively. Moreover, there are a lot of reading materials available which brings convenience to the research.

12.What are some places where there is a lot of noise?

I live in the centre of the city. Every day I struggle with noise making by the cars which makes me headaches and nervous. I can't sleep well so I am going to buy some ear plugs and hopes they work me magic.

噪音雅思口语范文篇二:制造噪音

Describe a situation someone made noise.

You should say:

when it happened

who made the noise

where it was

and explain how you felt about it.

This takes me back to my younger days, at university. In China, you usually live in single-sex dorms during your time at uni, with up to 8 people squashed into a small space. I was even more unfortunate, as my dorm was slightly bigger – ever so slightly – so the university decided to cram 9 boys into the room! You couldn’t swing a cat in there, it stunk and obviously more people equals more noise.

Despite these cramped conditions, we all tried to make the best of it. At the end of the day everyone is in the same boat, so you try to get along and not stir up trouble. I learned to wear ear plugs during the night to block out some of the noise. We were all young boys, so a lot of my roommates would stay up late playing computer games or watching movies.

Generally it was very harmonious, but I remember one time in particular when my patience was really tested. A lot of my friends loved basketball and there was a really important NBA match going on in America. Due to the time difference between China and the U.S., it was on very late over here, during the early hours of the morning. I don’t care about basketball at all, so I was trying to sleep, but my roommates were getting very excited, whooping and cheering.

I bit my tongue for a long time, but I felt more and more angry. My rage was slowly building, until eventually I erupted! I told them to shut up or go and watch the game somewhere else.

The next morning was a little bit awkward, but eventually we all made up.

噪音雅思口语范文篇三:控制人为噪音

Task:Some people think that the amount of noise people make have to be controlled strictly, others say that people are free to make as much as they wish. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Sample answer:

Have you ever annoyed by unexpected intrusions of noise that prevents your peaceful trips. Have you exposed to bursts of noise when you work on one task. Have you felt tired of living with chronic city noise day after day.I believe every individual prefer a peaceful and quiet environment to a noisy one.

It is imperative for the government to strictly control the amount of noise in our life. First, a survey can prove my stand, compared with students who attended schools in quiet neighborhoods, the counterparts attended schools near noisy airport are liable to suffer from distraction. Also, the debate reminds me of my experience, as a columnist,I take pleasure in creating new essays in a café and I pay high price for a quiet environment, however, there are, sometimes, two inane babblers to break the silence,I can hardly zero in on work under noisy circumstances . Last, when I made a self-travel in England, I found that all travelers voluntarily switched phones to silent, turned stereos off and kept chatter to a minimum. Conversely, in my city, some people never notice that they become nuisances by talking aloud, playing cell phone music in public. So, fining people for making a din will definitely dissuade the polluter and be proved to be a neat solution.

Others, however, think differently.First, some people argue that the noise might, at first , be quite annoying, however, people might do well at their tasks after a while because humans are capable of adjusting to a manifold noise levels. Further, some people may believe that making noise randomly is a basic right which can never be deprived. Hence, some people are in the habit of having a noisy party or loudly playing musical instrument at home, or constantly honking the horn when driving a car. What I am worried about is that the right of making noise might be abused.

Apparently, every government should be urged to reduce or eliminate the adverse effects of noise.
