The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit during the same two periods.

The above table shows the number of visitors to Ashdown Museum before and after being refurbished. The pie charts below show how satisfied the visitors were before and after the refurbishment.

Looking at the graphs in detail, we can see that the number of visitors increased by 18,000 after the refurbishment, from 74，000 to 92，000. Before the work was carried out. 40% of the visitors interviewed were dissatisfied with the museum. However, this number of dissatisfied visitors fell by 25% after the refurbishment. Furthermore, the number of very dissatisfied visitors halved in this process. It is also interesting to note that the figure for very satisfied visitors increased sharply from only 15% to 35%. In addition. there was also a 10% increase in the number of people who were satisfied. Only a few visitors did not respond to the survey.

It is clear from the graphs that whilst there had been a significant increase in the number of visitors after refurbishment, we can also see a great increase in the satisfaction ratings. The data given indicates a positive development in the museum.
